Director of Education - will be developing programming ideas for educational purposes such as tours, kid’s activities, community activities, and public speaking. Will need to be creative with all age groups and communicate well with staff and outside organizations. The educational director’s main focus is education and networking.
Individual will be responsible for creating minimum 2 educational activities a week, except for short weeks where a holiday may be involved. Individual will utilize the materials and crafts existing at the museum, and will need work with the recommended programming budget.
Individual will be guaranteed 25 hours each week and will need to fill in on days when full time staff will not be available due to vacation or other conflicts. Individual will also be required to be involved in the community with organization boards and mixers.
Banquet Director
This individual will be required to run and manage most events. Weekends are required and possibly minimum weekday nights as well. Individual will be in charge of staff during events and will provide feedback from event staff to the director.
Individual will be guaranteed a minimum 10 hours a week and a max of 30 hours a week. Individual must communicate well with staff, guests, and clients and be personable on the phone as well as in public. Individual must be courteous and presentable at events at all times.
Banquet director will be required to make sure event staff works efficiently. The banquet director will be in charge of making sure change over and cleanups are done properly after events.
