Job Description:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting the President and carries the authority to make crucial decisions affecting the direction of Stencil Corporation, and is therefore a sought-after resource in decision-making and policy setting. The Executive Assistant will perform the role of managing correspondence, preparing research, and communication while also acting as the "gatekeeper," understanding in varying degree the requirements of the President, and with an ability through this understanding to decide which scheduled events or meetings are most appropriate for allocation of the President's time. The Executive Assistant may from time to time act as proxy for the President, representing him in meetings or communications. The Executive Assistant is expected to possess a high degree of business acumen, as well as the capacity to influence others on behalf of the President. A substantial amount of project management is required of the Executive Assistant, as well as the ability to accept the delegation of less consequential executive tasks. A four-year degree in business administration is preferred, as well as prior knowledge of or experience in real estate. Duties: Manage internal and external brands and communications Act as liaison between Stencil and approved vendors and contractors Establish and maintain goodwill and working relationships with vendors and contractors Media placement and media schedule management Create sales sheets and other tools for available properties Manage second-tier communications and marketing (realtor ads, etc.) Develop and manage lists Event planning and management Scheduling for President and others as necessary Manage marketing/communications budgets Manage investor correspondence and events Manage electronic assets Manage web leads and web content Research, as assigned by the President Maintain current computer skills related to daily job functions Maintain work area with professional appearance Attend functions, some during the business day and some after hours, as needed Write correspondence as directed by the President Assist with reception duties as needed Various other tasks, as assigned by the President
