The South Dakota Association of College Career Centers(SDACCC) will host the 19th annual B.I.G. (Business, Industry and Government) Job Fair on Thursday, February 25, 2010.
Over 100 employers are registered to attend this one-day event in the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Hundreds of entry-level positions for college and technical school graduates will be available. Interested candidates are encouraged to prepare flawless resumes, research company web sites, and apply on-line before the fair if the company has on-line processes. These simple steps will improve one's candidacy overall and facilitate in-depth discussion with recruiters. Students and alumni of South Dakota post-secondary institutions can pre-register with those institutions, saving $5. Contact the career office of your institution. Others can register on-site at a cost of $10. All candidates are encouraged to dress professionally, bring a supply of resumes, and be prepared to interview either briefly or more formally.
