When Stanley Haahr started a new savings and loan in Storm Lake, Iowa more than half-century ago, he preached one simple credo: "You've just gotta take care of the people." Meta Payment Systems, a division of MetaBank, is one of the largest prepaid issuers in the U.S. with more than 500 clients and 3,500 locations nationwide. Meta Payment Systems products include prepaid gift cards, re-loadable cards, teen cards, travel cards, and global money transfer services. Believe it or not, we're not looking for the typical, straight-laced polished banker-type here. We're looking for smart, ambitious "people people."   • Medical - First of month following 30 days of employment - Medical insurance coverage (individual and family coverage) - Meta Financial Group® and employee pays
  • Dental - First of month following 30 days of employment - Dental insurance coverage (individual and family coverage) - Employee pays

  • Life Insurance and AD & D - First of month following date of employment - 2 times annual salary to a maximum of $500,000 per employee - Meta Financial Group pays
  • Supplemental Life Insurance - First of month following date of employment - Increments of $10,000 to the lesser of 5 times salary or $300,000. Minimum of $20,000 - Employee pays
  • Dependent Life Insurance - First of month following date of employment - Increments of $5,000 to the lesser of 50% of the Employees benefit or $50,000. Minimum of $10,000. - Employee (.16/1000/mo for all children; spousal rate based on employees age) pays
  • Short Term Disability Insurance - First of month following 90 days of employment - 60 percent of employee’s base salary up to 26 weeks of disability. - Meta Financial Group pays
  • Long Term Disability Insurance - First of month following date of employment - 60% of monthly salary to a maximum of $10,000 per month. - Benefits begin on the 181st day for accident and illness. - Employee ($.31 per $100 of monthly income) pays
  • Sick Leave - After 90 day introductory period - 5 days of sick leave credited each October 1. - Meta Financial Group pays
  • 401(k) Savings Plan (salary deferral) - After 90 day introductory period and after attainment of age 21. - Opportunity to set aside pre-tax income as an investment for retirement years. - Employee pays
  • Profit Sharing Plan - Following 12 consecutive months of service quarterly entry dates and after attainment of age 21. - Profit sharing contributions provided the economic performance of the Bank warrant and the Board of Directors resolves to make. Contributions based on employees’ compensation. Fully vested when funded. - Meta Financial Group pays
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - October 1 or April 1 following 12 consecutive months of service after date of hire. - Stock ownership contributions, provided that the economic performance of the Bank warrant and the Board of Directors resolves to make. Contributions based on employees’ compensation. Employee fully vested after 6 years of service. - Meta Financial Group pays
  • Vacation – Full Time Hourly - Accrues after 90 day introductory period - 10 days of vacation each year - After 2 yrs of service: 15 days of vacation each year - After 10 yrs of service; 20 days of vacation each year - After 20 yrs of service; 25 days of vacation each year - Meta Financial Group pays
