Mortgage Loan Processor – Sioux Falls, SD
Well established, locally owned financial institution is currently seeking a Lead Mortgage Underwriter for the growth in their department. This position is held within a CUSO of a 70 year old locally owned Federal Credit Union. It has received awards from the South Dakota Housing Development Authority as one of the state’s top 5 lenders with the 1st time home buyer program for 4 years running. This is a very community involved organization that offers a flexible work environment, modern and up-to-date office settings, and an excellent benefits package. Additionally, it is an in house servicer for the SDHDA loan program and rates as one of the state’s top 6 USDA/RD lenders.
Position Functions
• Work and communicate with lenders, Investors, and Loan Officers
• Receive incoming mortgage loan applications, and prepare and order the required documents
• Complete underwriting file by gathering, preparing, and analyzing all underwriting information and submit file to underwriting department
• Review all approval conditions and ensure they are met before time of closing
• Schedule closings
• Prepare loan files for closers

Requirements:
Qualifications
• 2+ years of Mortgage Processing experience
• Current knowledge of processing all FHA, VA, SDH, Rural Development, and Conventional Real Estate loans
• Must be a detailed oriented and organized individual
• Ability to research date and make accurate decisions
