Description:
Responsible for providing support for projects and procedural changes for the implementation of new processing methods and technologies that support the Treasury Operations (TO) Banking and Cashiering functions and for acquiring expert knowledge of the administration systems and how they function in the Treasury Operations arena and regulatory procedures. Serve as the Business User representative for Company projects, working closely with IT Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts and Management. Responsible for certain aspects of bank relationships, documentation and transaction administration.
Requirements:
• A college degree in a business or the equivalent work experience/education required; Aptitude to look beyond existing systems in order to propose enhancements
• Banking knowledge (beyond customer) required
• Possess a technical and process analysis background
• Accounting training/education assuring familiarity with accounting principles
• A technical understanding of the insurance processes, New Business systems, and methodologies is preferred
• Ability to exercise good judgment, make sound decisions independently, and work under minimal supervision
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and facilitation skills require.
• Ability in above average problem solving and logic reasoning powers.; Ability to determine the difference between a significant request/problem versus an isolated situation
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and resolve problem situations
• Possesses excellent mathematical skills
• Good interpersonal skills including; a high degree of maturity, effective relational skills, and a strong initiative
• Ability to develop extensive knowledge of complex work procedures and practices
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and effectively work under deadline pressures
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Mainframe systems
