Description:
Coordinates or assist in the development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of the federal and state regulations as well as Company policy and procedures.
• Coordinates the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) in accordance with current federal and state rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment, including Resident Assessment Protocols (RAP) analysis & care plan development.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills to select the correct reason for assessment, Assessment Reference Date (ARD), reasons for assessment & participates in the minute management process. Ensures that the care/services provided are captured accurately & appropriate payment is received by the Medicare/Medicaid systems.
• Uses Company standards to manage the RAI process, including Concurrent Review & Point Right
• Assists in the development of a comprehensive resident assessment and care plan.
