Summary: This position is key in effectively building and maintaining relationships as well as creating operational success with Financial Institution partners to expand prepaid product offerings; contributing to the overall mission to be a pioneer for change in the banking industry.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Gain a strong understanding of MPS portals and systems used by, and to support, partner banks/credit unions
•Comprehend and advocate payment solutions to new and existing financial institution partners
•Operate as an extension of the client voice
•Continuously innovate for process and/or product improvements
•Ability to apply logical decision making to include return on investment, risk/benefit analysis and similar approaches
•Effective and efficient verbal and written communication with internal and external customers
As needed, this position will also include any/all of the following:

•Meet or exceed departmental SLAs for responding to calls/email
•Aggressively complete a number of steps for new client implementation including systemic set up, client education and training, accuracy of other dependencies
•Provide product and system function webinar training to newly enrolled clients or as needed
•Effectively host market research and other industry related webinars for existing, established clients
•Research and problem solve to find relevant solutions that proactively meet client needs
•Ability to effectively participate in department or product enhancement meetings
•Sell additional products with a service-minded approach
•Meet portfolio performance goals including same store sales, product cross-selling, engagement level and other key performance indicators
•Displays initiative to understand the business of key clients including strategic plans, economics and goals
•Effectively manage client acquisitions, mergers and retention
•Demonstrate a solid understanding of association bylaws for marketing/collateral review and approval
•Make recommendations and influence decisions on aggregated issues, suggestions and other client feedback
•Effectively complete CIP and enforcement monitoring
•Contribute to portfolio research and monitoring for Third Party Risk initiatives
•Direct business disruption practices to ensure minimal client impact/interruption
•Create departmental best practices and policies
•Complete user acceptance testing to validate and approve the accuracy of system enhancements
•Lead publishing efforts within the departmental Sharepoint intranet
•Proactively mentor the Business Resources Team to support, train and enhance the skills of other team members
•Research and present findings of industry standards
•Demonstrate proficiency in financial and accounting abilities for clients
•Manage the client contract process
•Create or contribute to reports for the department/organization
•Coordinate and complete special projects as requested
•Travel for client meetings as necessary
•Other duties may be assigned
 
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Account management experience preferred. Retail banking experience a plus.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.



Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to solve practical problems and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.



Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be prepared to perform significant portions of their work in a computer based work environment. They should have experience with:

•Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.



Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
