Description:
Furniture Outlets USA is currently seeking a responsible individual with supervisory experience to oversee our 2nd shift shipping & receiving picker operators. Position is a hands-on supervisor position with the responsibility to not only manage the other picker operators, but to also pick products and move merchandise with the crew. Primary objectives are to positively motivate staff to improve efficiency and assign work to maximize labor use. Will supervise a crew of nine (FT and PT) employees.
Must be able to operate a lift machine reaching heights of up to 34 feet. Will be required to learn the computer system and inventory scan gun operation to be able to answer questions and resolve problems as they arise. Responsible for training new employees as needed. Qualified candidates will be reliable, self-motivated, efficient, and have great attention to detail and leadership experience.
Position requires the ability to lift furniture in excess of 100 lbs on a regular basis. Upon job offer, must be able to pass background check and drug test before starting work. Requirements:
Must have Fork Lift experience, computer skills, ability to lift 100 lbs on a regular basis. Previous experience managing staff preferred.
