Description:
Actively lead and direct all activities in the department in partnership with the department manager. This includes but is not limited to responsibility for workflow and quality control of the department as well as development of staff, partnering with the manager on salary reviews, hiring and corrective action responsibilities, and the organization and allocation of work for departmental personnel. This individual is responsible for ensuring that departmental processing is in compliance with Statutory, 38a-1 and Model Audit Rule requirements and that all record keeping is being handled appropriately.
