We currently have a position open in our engineering department.
Assists in the development of new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of product line.
Assists in handling production support engineering after transfer from design to high volume production using DFM methodology. Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems.
Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements using LEAN/Six Sigma methodology. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Assists in the development or modification of process formulations and defines process.
Assists in handling transfer from design to high volume manufacturing.
Assures product specifications and standards are met by monitoring QC data.
Improves product/yield by performing failure analysis.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Industrial courses such as auditing of quality and manufacturing systems, SPC and FMEA, Minitab and Solidworks preferred.
