Sr. Business Systems Analyst – Sioux Falls, SD
Company
A premier financial institution in the prepaid arena is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst. Established in the early 2000’s, this $106M financial institute has become an elite leader in the prepaid industry providing gift cards, reloadable cards, ATM sponsorships, and other prepaid services.
Position Function
• Work with the project stakeholders, customers, and end users by managing, specifying, analyzing and verifying their needs
• Involvement in all aspects of launching efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of organizational functions, business initiatives, and processes
• Provide systems knowledge for the functional IT systems supported
• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
• Analyze current business systems and recommend and/or design solutions
• Participate throughout the project lifecycle with business needs including providing input into Executive Proposals, Scope Documents, and conducting usability sessions
Computer Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of MS Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio Standard/Premium, MPM, and ARC
• Knowledge of data collection, integration, processing, and management practices
• Working knowledge of current and in progress application development and enhancement features and processes

Requirements:
ob Qualifications
• Modeling skills – flowchart through structured analysis models experience (i.e., data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, Use case, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communications skills required
• Must have excellent negotiation and prioritizations skills
• Ability to operate at various levels of abstraction
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field plus 4 years equivalent field experience
• IT/IS team leadership or project management experience
