This is a "hands-on" salaried position responsible for directing, leading and mentoring by example a crew of housekeeping team members performing numerous cleaning and sanitation duties. This person will inspect all work areas and provide feedback and guidance ensuring the entire facility meets our stringent standards and expectations. Work closely with the EVS manager assisting in training, scheduling, assigning duties, providing input for performance evaluations, and making recommendations for increased productivity and efficiency. Providing and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests, and staff is critical. General daily duties include: cleaning of Casino floor, offices, restrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, event center, outdoor facilities and all other associated areas, as well as keeping track of inventory and supplies, and participating in recycling and garbage programs. Ultimate responsibility is to ensure the customer is impressed with the cleanliness of our facility, and has an exceptional experience during their time in our facility.
•Provide exceptional guest service to all customers at all times.
•Lead a crew of EVS team members, mentoring and coaching as needed
•Inspect all work and provide feedback
•Must possess a basic understanding of chemical safety and recommended best practices
•Cleans restrooms multiple times each day including floors and fixtures. Cleans all gaming devices, tables and chairs associated with the Casino floor.
•As needed and as directed cleans ash trays and removes trash from the gaming area
•Daily cleans slot bases to remove soils and evidence of use.
•Cleans all associated support areas including back of house offices and restrooms as needed /directed
•Does daily projects as directed and as needed including areas of hotel, kitchen any other areas associated with GFCR
•Will provide restorative services when emergencies arise and may need to work alternate hours.
•Cleans dining venues when not in operation including floors, table bases, chairs, wall and ceiling finishes.
•Is to be a cohesive part of a service oriented team with a positive attitude that is quality minded and customer focused.
•Will be directed by multiple individuals not always including their direct supervisor and must be capable of self directing and doing what is needed when it is needed.
•Must be courteous, knowledgeable, honest, credible, reliable and respectful of all.
