Summary
Adjusts and repairs machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
Essential Functions
•Adjusts and repairs machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
•Ensures an adequate amount of surplus monitors and parts are in inventory.
•Tests, bench-repairs and evaluates slot machine monitors.
•Maintains other types of casino electronic devices.
•Conducts general maintenance and/or service on all machines and equipment.
•Examines defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions.
•Conducts daily inspections of machines and equipment.
•Participates in the programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
•Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
•Attends all company required training.
•Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
•Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
•Adheres to all safety guidelines.
•Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
•Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
•Must be able to read, write, speak and/or interpret simple sentences in English.
•Must be able to read and understand technical manuals.
•Ability to effectively present information to top management in a clear and concise manner
•Must be able to work cohesively with co-workers and work as a team.
•Ability to carry out instructions.
•Ability to obtain IRGC Gaming License (arranged by Grand Falls if not already licensed)
