Assistant Managers assist Store Managers with daily store activities and oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. The primary job duties of this position include the following:
• Assist in hiring decisions, employee training and performance management.
• Assist with bookkeeping, auditing and ordering inventory as needed.
• Assist in establishing work schedules and ensure all work assignments are covered daily; filling in when necessary.
• Operate cash register and all other machines and equipment on store premises.
• Help to maintain cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior of store.
Qualified applicants will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate store equipment including cash register and equipment used in food preparation and floor care.
