Description:
Summary: To plan, develop and coordinate the public and private web. Oversee Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites and additional web based efficiency applications. Research resources and tools to increase efficiency for operations in communications and internal processes. Develop online marketing tactics and strategies for proper online positioning of company and products.
Primary Duties:
* To develop and market the public web presence of the company
* Manage vendors as needed for design, development, mobile and digital marketing projects that need outsourcing.
* Oversee the development of web based applications and implementation of Internet and intranet sites through internal and external resources.
* Create and implement methods to minimize company inefficiencies through web application development and design
* Analyze web based needs of the organization from user strategic perspective and adapt web sites accordingly
* Work closely with management team to determine future online advertising needs
Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in web design or related field or equivalent experience
* High level of familiarity with
* Excellent computer knowledge and skills with Excel, Word, MS Office, HTML, CSS, Wordpress and related website and CMS platforms, Adobe Photoshop, and image optimization for the web
* DNS and web server management (in house or cloud) required.
* Experience with PHP, Javascript, HTML5 and other open source languages beneficial.
