Description:
Summary Responsible for scanning tickets and assisting patrons of the Sioux Falls Arena and Orpheum Theater with questions or concerns
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To seat patrons according to ticket numbers.
Keep unauthorized persons out of restricted seats.
Survey area prior to event for damaged or dirty seats; communicate findings to supervisor.
Pick up loose debris from work area after event.
Assist patrons with all questions or concerns.
Report concerns regarding first aid, ticketing, and safety to a supervisor.
Work a ticket scanner and keep track of rejected tickets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to read, write, hear, and speak English; clean and neat in appearance, ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays; able to stand for long periods; able to walk up and down steep stairs. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for those with disabilities.
Skills and Abilities
Read, write and speak English.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to stand for 5 hours.
