Description:
Peoples Bank, a progressive $365 million locally owned community bank with offices in Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota is currently looking for a full time Ag/Business Banking Officer to join our growing lending team.
This position will be responsible for servicing an existing portfolio as well as expanding lending services to current and prospective customers. Some of the responsibilities are generating, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of agricultural, commercial, consumer and real estate loans with current bank customers as well as prospective customers. This position will also assist customers with a variety of banking transactions and refer customers to other services that the bank provides.
The ideal candidate is a professional who has strong communication skills, is customer service orientated, organized, detail orientated, self-motivated and a team player. A four year degree in a business related field is preferred along with five plus years of equivalent work related experience.
