Responsible for generating top line revenue to exceed budget expectations. Work closely with general manager, revenue manager and sales team to develop and implement an effective sales and marketing plan. Direct the sales and marketing effort. Other duties as assigned. Salary is negotiable.

Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of full-service hotel sales experience. Minimum of one year (1) of association, corporate and SMERF group sales experience.
Be a hands-on professional with a passion to motivate others and a willingness to personally demonstrate a successful method of selling beyond goals and expectations.
Have knowledge and experience in writing, directing and executing a sales and marketing plan.
Have excellent skills in team building, selecting talent, training, mentoring and developing a sales team and achieving goals.
Have extensive experience in managing the daily operations of the sales department, directing the effort, executing and exceeding weekly sales call goals, teleprospecting calls, hotel site tours and cold call goals.
Possess effective communication skills to establish strong customer relationships and repeat business opportunities through a pro-active leadership style.
Efficiently manage the sales effort through forecasting, budgeting and revenue management to achieve and exceed top line goals.
Drive revenues through new business opportunities and develop a strong customer base
Pro-active sales approach to saturate and penetrate accounts.
Professional and effective written correspondence, proposals, bids and follow-up must be demonstrated.
Creativity, enthusiasm, passion and drive are required to be successful in this position.
