Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
This team member will inspect and maintain fire protection systems for commercial and/or residential customers. This position include a $2,500 sign on bonus!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform periodic inspections and maintenance on fire protection and backflow systems in conformance with applicable codes
• Prepare written and typed documentation of inspection results
• Prepare, fabricate, and install fire protection systems
• Develop and follow work lists of parts and labor to repair sprinkler systems
• Read and understand blueprints
• Heavy lifting, carrying, and operation of tools and equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Keep area clean and organized
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Promote safety, teamwork, and cooperation
• Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5 years fire sprinkler inspection experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Professional image
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Sales experience
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NICET certification
• Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and backflow preventers
• ABPA backflow testing certification
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA Codes including: 13, 13R, 14, 20 & 25
• Basic electrical skills
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in sprinkler systems
• Plumbing background preferred
• Implement industry standard practices for service and inspections
