Salary: $11.00 - $13.00 hourly DOE

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs the duties required to smoothly operate the CFH warehouse including packing and shipping orders, maintaining inventory, manufacturing and packaging product, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, and cleaning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Processing Orders for Shipment: 45% of duties
• Imports orders into order management system. Incorporates changes to orders. Evaluates and approves orders for shipment.
• Assembles inventory pick rack.
• Packs orders. Generates and applies shipping labels. Sends tracking information to customers and prepares documentation for shipping carriers.
• Maintains order accuracy, efficiency, and a clean work area.
• Process and ship reship orders.
• Process customer returns.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Manufacturing: 25% of duties
• Coordinates inventory priorities with Warehouse Manager.
• Prepares boxed product for packaging including:
o Printing labels and instructions, and folding instructions.
o Prepares "job boxes" for all product requiring packaging.
o Labels product boxes.
o Assembles packaging including inserting components, applying best by date labels, and organizing in storage boxes.
• Prepares repackaged inventory for sale.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Assisting with Maintaining Inventory: 10% of duties
• Evaluates and restocks inventory.
• Evaluates shipping and office supplies. Restocks inventory as needed.
• Receives incoming inventory; logs outgoing inventory.
• Assists warehouse manager with maintaining inventory records.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Communicating with Internal and External Customers: 10% of duties
• Responds to requests for information from Customer Service in a timely manner in full compliance with CFH warehouse procedures and service expectations.
• Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone with end-user customers (limited).
Cleaning: 10% of duties
• Maintains the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner including but not limited to:
o Removes garbage, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, and wipes down all warehouse areas, office areas, food prep areas, and the bathroom.
o Keeps waking paths clear.
o Secures inventory, supplies, and electrical cords (in compliance with safety guidelines).
o Breaks down boxes.
o Restocks supplies and straightens work areas at the beginning and end of each shift.
 
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Minimum GED, High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience: At least 6 months warehouse experience preferred.
• Job Related Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
o Ability to use a computer effectively including but not limited to email, internet, word processing software, spreadsheet software, MS Window’s-based computer applications.
o Ability to use a multi-line phone system.
o Basic computer keyboarding skills.
o Accurate data entry.
o Demonstrated evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to manage competing priorities.
o Ability to meet deadlines and urgent customer needs.
o Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.

o Ability to accurately interpret written documents (order forms, pick lists, packing slips, address labels, etc.)
o Knowledge of warehouse processes preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work duties require the majority of duties to be conducted at the CFH warehouse. May need to travel to various sites for a variety of meetings or to pick up resources from vendors, etc. Warehouse temperatures may vary significantly with seasonal changes. Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (variable shift) Monday-Friday. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work required.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS & EQUIPMENT USAGE
This position requires individual to be able to sit or stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb stairs. Lifting involved (up to 75 lbs.). Must be able to use a keyboard. Requires frequent hand/eye coordination.
