Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of the organization and for assisting in safeguarding company assets through account analysis and regular monitoring of financial transactions. The duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing the company accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Job Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Serves as Lead for Accounts Receivable to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of processing invoices, deposits, payment posting, and intercompany transfers.
• Serves as lease administrator, manages lease accounting entries and reporting.
Enters credits into the AR System.
• Reconciles accounts receivable transactions to the general ledger and bank statement.
• Calculates commission expense for payroll, intercompany billings, and intercompany payments.
• Prepares sales and commission reports for sales management and GM.
• Calculates and files sales & use tax for applicable states.
• Enters ACH and Wire payments for Accounts Payable.
• Issues check to the bank, enters voids, and verifies outstanding checks for Accounts Payable.
• Reconciles accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
• Completes accruals including but not limited to rebates and intercompany billings.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries.
• Meets strict month end, quarter end, and year end close deadlines for journal entries and reporting.
• Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company’s financial status.
• Prepares month end and ad hoc reports.
• Complete sustainability reporting.
• Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses.
• Assists with the management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting with the organization.
• Assists with preparations for audits.
• Ensures compliance with and prepares reports according to GAAP and any applicable government regulations.
• Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Provides back up for AR, AP, Costing, and the Controller.
• Coordinates with and prepares reports for the General Manager and upper management.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and other systems as required
• Knowledge of JD Edwards, Syman, and Hyperion software preferred
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in accounting
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, costing, and general ledger experience
