SALARY: Starting wage $14.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES: LSS Childcare & Education Services offers engaging early childhood experiences that make learning fun! We are seeking full-time professionals to assist a lead teacher with classroom activities in our one-year-old and two-year-old rooms at our Southern Hills location. In addition to assisting the lead teacher in teaching and caring for a classroom of students, key responsibilities include communicating with parents, helping to keep a clean and organized classroom, and working with co-workers to ensure that all children are safe and well cared for.
LSS provides staff with a strong team of supervisors to ensure a high level of comfort in their role, adequate training and communication, and spacious classrooms that are stocked with supplies, toys and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: A strong candidate will possess a high school diploma, with education beyond high school and/or childcare experience. Must meet licensing requirements including no substantiated report of child abuse or neglect and no felony in the last five years. Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
