Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Nursing Assistants to join our team. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and are looking for an opportunity to grow in the healthcare field, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
-Provide light housekeeping and cleaning of resident rooms and equipment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Participate in resident activities and recreational programs.
-Attend to all resident personal hygiene and personal care needs, including but not limited to grooming, hygiene, dining and nutritional needs, mobility, elimination, psychosocial and safety needs.
-Consistently work with all neighborhood team members, led by resident and family preferences to meet the needs and desires of each resident.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training if not certified.
- Compassion, patience, and a desire to work with seniors.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work evenings or overnights.
