Jans Corporation is hiring a reliable and experienced full-time Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team! Your expertise will help our growing company continue to deliver the quality work that is changing the landscape of our community and region. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following the proper industry procedures and wearing appropriate protective equipment when necessary.
Hours - A typical work day is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 4:30PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines.

Commercial Construction Superintendents provide on-site management and hands on work as required for all phases of the construction project - including coordinating workers, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
- Construction experience required.
- Proactive problem solving.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage employees and subcontractors.
- Must have good communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Must be willing to do inside and outside work.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be available for some travel outside of Sioux Falls (about 20%).
- Physical endurance to complete the necessary tasks.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings.
