Program Coordinator – Dakota Reach

Now under new direction and management, Aurora Plains Academy has several opportunities including Program Coordinator, which comes with all full-time benefits including company provided housing (optional).
A division of Clinicare Corporation, Aurora Plains Academy is a COA Accredited PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility) and alternative day school providing trauma- focused treatment for adolescents. Licensed by the South Dakota Department of Social Services, Aurora Plains Academy offers a comprehensive education and treatment program for those who are struggling with an array of issues such as emotional and behavioral difficulties, substance abuse, sexual offenses, and lower cognitive functioning.
We are looking for a Program Coordinator who can facilitate the effective management of the Dakota Reach Program and all activities according to Dakota Reach policies and procedures. Includes supervisory responsibilities and documentation responsibilities,
New Employee Orientation and ongoing training is provided.
What you bring to the table:
- Must be at least 21 years of age with at least 2 years of higher education or specialized experience working with those who have developmental delays or disabilities; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
- Must be patient and have compassion for others in need
- Must be willing to be an appropriate role model for the residents in your care
- Must enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Must not have on record a substantiated incidence of abuse or neglect
Preferred:
Treatment plan development experience.
Experience in managing treatment team meetings.
Supervisor experience
Minimum of 2 years working with individuals and families with developmental disabilities.
