POSITION SUMMARY

The Development Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting on a range of development projects including multifamily, hospitality, and commercial developments. The role will have a strong emphasis on project feasibility studies, due diligence, and entitlement. Additionally, the role requires acute attention to detail, organization, and accountability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

New Project Identification/Business Development Efforts

  • Researching markets we are operating in or seeking to operate in and staying abreast of trends in the market.
  • Developing high-level project feasibility studies.

Program & Scope Analysis

  • Researching and analyzing market opportunities.
  • Projecting competitive rental rates and incomes for the project.
  • Helping to set accurate project budgets and expense projections.
  • Consolidating input and providing to design team on FF&E budgets and project scope.

Project Management/Project Review/City Entitlement

  • Updating project deadlines with design and engineering teams.
  • Coordinating project deliverables, timelines, and deadlines.
  • Coordinating and documenting plan reviews with necessary stakeholders.

Project Turnover/scope management

  • Walk projects and ensure goals of the project are being met.

Organization/Communication

  • Develop regular project and divisional meeting agendas.
  • Facilitate regular project and divisional progress meetings.
  • Update pipeline information on a regular basis.
  • Generate and report on project pursuit expenses.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct reports currently exist in this position. The Development Project Coordinator will be responsible for indirectly mentoring or supervising employees to ensure project details are delivered on time and that marketing initiatives are carried out simultaneously with projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors (B.S) degree in related field
