Job Description
Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of mobile equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.
- Complete accurate written record of work performed.
- Plan for and order new parts for inventory and repairs
- Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic qualifications;
- Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
- Welding certifications are a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, take directions, and perform well with others.
