Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, ou will be responsible for maintining and repairing diesel engines and related components. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
Duties:
-Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
-Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
-Inspect and test engines to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
-Weld and fabricate parts as needed (not required)
-Align and adjust engine components to ensure proper function
-Conduct brake repairs and alignments
-Dig into engine components to identify and resolve issues
-Provide excellent service by communicating effectively with others
Job Requirements
Skills:
-Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
-Ability to suspend heavy parts using proper lifting techniques
-Knowledge of electrical systems in Class 8 trucks
-Ability to communicate well with others
-Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
-At least 1 year Experience with Diesel Engines and components preferred
-Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on skill level
-42-50 hours per week
