Facilities Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following -
- Occasionally cleans internal building areas (offices, hallways, lobbies, break rooms, restrooms, etc.), including washing, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and window and carpet cleaning.
- Maintains landscaping by cleaning rock beds, planting and watering shrubs/flowers, etc.
- Cleans and maintains parking lot and sidewalks, including minor snow removal and de-icing of walkways.
- Maintains and repairs buildings' HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, light bulbs, ballasts, leaking faucets, and toilets.
- Light carpentry work, including maintaining and repairing wood/stucco parts of buildings.
- Assists other departments with moving furniture, unloading and storing supplies, and installing standard office equipment.
- Assists with setup and takedown of tables and chairs for special events or meetings.

Your starting hourly salary is based on previous experience and will range from $18.50 to $22.50 per hour, plus an incentive. Weekday hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Specific schedules and hours will be discussed during the interview.
Facilities Specialist Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to independently identify work that needs to be done and follow up
- Must demonstrate the ability to follow written work orders and verbal instructions
- Must possess a high degree of service, teamwork, dependability, and quality
- A valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record is required
