Weller Brothers provides the highest quality landscape design, construction and maintenance services to clients in Rochester and the surrounding communities. Because we are growing, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Fertilizer Specialist to become part or our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and apply fertilizers and chemicals to lawns, landscape plants and trees
- Identify and diagnose turf and landscape plant issues and diseases. Recommend treatments and repairs as needed to customers
- Manage and track daily route
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Restock service vehicles/trailers with parts accurately and efficiently daily
Job Requirements:
- Must enjoy having fun at work!
- Must have the drive to to be the best everyday!
- Must have experience in the fertilizer/chemical applications field
- Minnesota License required
- Must be able to work 5–6 days a week
- Ability to communicate with customers professionally and regularly to answer questions and solve problems
- Significant knowledge and experience in operating common irrigation equipment
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Perform the most physical task on the job-site for at least one hour per day including heavy lifting
- Self-starter
- Hold teammates accountable for timeliness, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Willingness to work long hours to get the job done on time
