Job Description
A Spectrum of Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Grand Forks, ND. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Administer medications and provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and laundry
- Document client progress and report any changes to the supervising nurse
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
