Logistics Account Manager
First contact for customer accounts and responsibility for ensuring coverage of freight according to corporate contracts. This includes close monitoring of all internal activities that impact service obligations(carrier performance, last minute customer requests, resolution of delayed pickup/delivery, etc).
-Work with other departments to achieve balance of capacity and freight
-Ensure all customer expectations are met
-Seek additional freight opportunities when needed
-Closely track shipments in jeopardy of being late and follow up with internal leadership and customers regularly to prevent increased costs for either party.
