Product Specialist
The Product Specialist will serve as the primary technical resource for the Sales Operations Specialists, the Regional Sales Managers, and our dealers. This role is considered a product expert on either product families or the entire product portfolio. This role interfaces with dealers, customers, sales, customer service, engineering, and the factory.

- Dealer training and on-boarding
- Engineering and sales liaison
- Sales Operations support and customer engagement
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a product expert that supports the field sales team from a technical perspective.
- Work closely with the sales team as a technical advisor and product advocate.
- Conduct training with our sales team on product application and configuration, as needed.
- Participate in sales calls as a technical expert, as needed.
- Lead the bid specification writing and response process.
- Construct basic reach models and diagrams.
- Utilize Salesforce to identify and advance stuck opportunities.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Maintain relationships and strives to provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute knowledge toward literature and materials to be used in training programs.
- Document any lessons learned and communicate back to proper channels at Diamond.
- Serve as onsite coach/expert for demos and in-services when necessary.
- Lead in-person application reviews with dealers/customers.
All other duties are performed as necessary.
Qualifications/Prior Experience (preferred):
- 2-3 years of technical background with products, hands on experienced operator
- 1-3 years delivering technical training preferred.
- Continuous knowledge development when not in a training setting
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Must be proficient in: MS Office, CRM
- 1-3 years delivering technical training preferred.

- Formal presentation skills
Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors and customers.
- Coach and mentor others.
- Physical job requirements for 8-hour shift
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines.
- Independent problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to travel 25%.
Location and Hours:
- Location: Cherokee St
- Hours: 8:00-5:00
- Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
