Job Summary:

• Assess and manage patients with varying acuity and conditions from minor to critical.
• Provide stabilization and emergency care for patients to include specialized procedures such as triage, assisting with orthopedic procedures, cardiac procedures, ear, nose and throat procedures, wound cleansing and repair, psychiatric emergencies, etc.
• Perform admission assessment, identifying the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.
• Plan and set priorities in the delivery of nursing care.
• Evaluate patient's symptoms, reactions and progress. Record and report to physicians as appropriate.

Education and/or Experience:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota, Basic Life Support, TNCC and ACLS certification is mandatory within six months of employment. Demonstrates proficiency with cardiac monitor strip interpretation.
• Previous experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing helpful.

Work Schedule

• Hours:
  • Full time position working varied shifts.  
  • Every 3^rd weekend/holiday rotation.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $30.50-45.25
