Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s Oncology, Hematology and Transplant patient-focused settings.

 

**May be eligible for a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus**

 

Position Highlights:

Job Summary

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the direction of the provider.
  • Treat and monitor:
    • Leukemia
    • Lymphoma
    • Multiple Myeloma
    • Multitude of hematologic disorders
    • Non-malignant hematology
  • Care for patients receiving Bone Marrow Transplants and CAR-T Therapy
  • Nurse duties include but are not limited to:
    • Care for patients in the clinic setting
    • Assist physician with bone marrow biopsy procedures
    • Develop long-term, rewarding relationships with a unique subset of patients

Work Schedule

  • Hours:
    • Eight-hour day shifts 8am-4:30pm
    • No holidays, weekends, call or nights

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

  • $25.75 - $38.25 per hour
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience

Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. 

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of SD and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota may be required depending on patient/job assignment.
Chemotherapy certification through the Oncology Nursing Society’s (ONS) core curriculum completed within 1 year of employment is required.
