Most job sites are located within 30 miles of Sioux Falls giving our employees the ability of going home every night.
We are currently searching for a water-main and sewer foreman.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Manage a 4-6 person crew
- Lead crew in the installation of underground utilities, water mains, fire mains, sewer mains and storm drains
- Operate an excavator and other heavy equipment while leading your crew
- Perform and train the essential job functions for any position on the pipe crew
- Identify, report and correct hazards
- Plan daily work from the project's schedule and execute accordingly
- Possess knowledge and understanding of production schedules
- Have knowledge of proper sequence of activities to avoid production slow down and errors
- Ensure crew’s safety
- Execute pipe work in accordance with plans and specifications
- Follow directions from owners and customoers
- Read blueprints
- Guide crew with fittings and valve installations
- Test systems for leaks and other issues
- Keep a detailed record of all activities performed on a given day
- Be Self-motivated and have a team player attitude
