$1,500 Sign-In Bonus!! 

Walk-In applicants taken from Monday-Thursday; 1 pm - 5 pm at the ProTec Division located at 316 E Industrial Dr, Lennox, SD starting April 5th.

Education Requirements
High School diploma, or equivalent

Experience Requirements
1. High School diploma, or equivalent, and:
2. Successful completion of an internal welding test
3. Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience
4. Ability to work individually and on a team
5. Ability to follow instructions
6. Support and promote safety and good housekeeping in all areas

Qualifications
1. Lift up to 50 lbs. at waist level and up to 30 lbs. at shoulder level up to an occasional basis when moving products; lift up to 75 lbs. at waist level on a rare basis
2. Push or pull with up to 75 lbs. of force up to an occasional basis when moving products
3. Generate up to 75 lbs. of grip strength up to an occasional basis with each hand while handling products
4. Generate up to 15 lbs. of pinch strength up to an occasional basis with each hand while handling products
5. Display average coordination with both hands up to a continuous basis while performing job tasks
6. Perform elevated work up to an occasional basis when handling products
7. Stoop, kneel or squat up to an occasional basis when handling products
8. Reach forward and to the side up to a frequent basis when handling products
9. Stand up to a continuous basis and walk up to a frequent basis during the course of each shift
10. Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
2. Wire-feed on black steel
3. Proficient in assigned welding techniques
4. Read blueprints and utilize tape measure
5. Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys,
aluminum, and galvanized metal.
6. Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
7. Conventional and precision measuring instruments
8. Process inspection, certification, and documentation
9. Welding equipment maintenance
10. Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
11. Safety and Housekeeping
12. Ensure no delays in scheduled production
13. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
