Are you a skilled and passionate Welder looking for an exciting opportunity in Watertown, SD? At Dynamic Engineering, we are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our growing team. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling parts to create high-quality products that exceed our customers' expectations.

Hours:

  • 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday option of getting off at 12:00 on Fridays.
  • 5 hours OT every week, additional OT available.

Key Responsibilities of a Welder:

  • Perform precision welding operations using various techniques and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand requirements.
  • Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components accurately.
  • Ensure proper setup and maintenance of welding equipment for maximum efficiency.
  • Inspect welds for defects and use appropriate tools to correct any issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and achieve production goals.
  • Foster a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain documentation of welding activities, including quality control records and completed job reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Welder with expertise in various welding techniques (MIG and TIG).
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in using welding tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds that meet technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
