About Us
Freeman Regional Health Services is a healthcare
facility which primarily serves residents in Hutchinson, McCook and Turner
Counties in Southeastern South Dakota. Freeman Regional Health Services
provides a full range of healthcare needs.
- Freeman
Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering acute
care and outpatient services.
- Oakview
Terrace is a 56-bed Medicare Skilled Nursing Home providing
round-the-clock nursing care. In addition, two 10-bed dementia care
units benefit residents with Alzheimers Disease and other forms of
dementia.
- FRHS
Clinic in Freeman is physically connected to the
hospital. Three satellite clinics are located in Menno, Marion and
Bridgewater. The clinics share staffing with three full time
physicians, one part time physician and three mid-level
practitioners. FRHS Clinics are jointly owned and operated by
Freeman Regional Health Services and Avera McKennan.
- Walnut
and Dewald Street Villages are 10-unit congregate Living
independent apartments owned and operated by Freeman Regional Health
Services. Each 2-bedroom apartment has its own laundry facilities
and attached garage. A continental breakfast is provided each
morning by the FRHS Dietary Staff.
