Do you have previous lending experience and a passion for helping people? In this role, you are trusted to assist our members with their everyday needs: saving for the future, new checking accounts, a child's first vehicle loan. The list goes on! We are looking for a service minded individual to assist our members through our Call Center. This position offers the ability to think creatively to find solutions for each member you work with, with no call time restrictions. 

Standard schedule would be Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.  Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm will generally include additional time off during the week.

A qualified candidate will have an associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial and lending experience required.

The successful individual is responsible for providing personalized financial products and services to members by performing the following duties:

• Individual must demonstrate a high level of customer service and be comfortable actively promoting products and services that meet our members' needs
• Solid phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and an attitude of life-long learning
• Ability to exercise independent judgment by approving applications within established guidelines (previous lending or loan underwriting experience is highly desired but not required).
• Follow-up with members via outbound service calls up to 70% of the time. (No call quotas or handle time restrictions, no prospecting or auto dialing so you can provide exceptional quality service)
• Must be able to read and understand credit reports and credit union policies and procedures. Previous experience in the financial lending industry is essential.
