2nd Shift Production Supervisor- Watertown, SD
Full-time, 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 2:15pm-1:30am, occasional overtime as needed)
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 Depending on experience

The Role
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor leads production operations during the evening shift and serves as the primary on-site leader for multiple departments. This is a hands-on role that works alongside the team while overseeing workflow, safety, quality, and staffing. The Supervisor reports into the Operations Manager and ensures production goals are met while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support approximately 20 production employees, including 1-2 Leads
Coordinate daily production priorities to meet customer demand
Work alongside team members to operate equipment and maintain workflow
Monitor equipment performance and address operational issues in real time
Identify and implement process improvements to support safety, quality, and efficiency
Lead safety efforts, including incident investigations and corrective actions
Support hiring, onboarding, and cross-training of team members
Provide coaching, address performance concerns, and conduct performance reviews
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Ability to lead a team in a hands-on manufacturing setting
Strong communication skills and ability to give clear direction
Comfortable operating production equipment and working hands-on
Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems (ERP)
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment (standing, walking, bending, exposure to noise and moving equipment)
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or technical training
Experience in foam, plastics, or similar manufacturing environment
Experience supporting safety programs or leading safety initiatives
Experience using ERP systems in a production setting
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
