Job Description
Support the various engineering departments by providing clean and accurate engineering prints to aid in the design and production of coil wound magnetics, the purchasing and inspection of components and to provide other drafting support as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Understand and promote corporate direction with regards to documentation control.
2. Operate a CAD visual display terminal to produce accurate scale layouts of magnetics and respective components.
3. Create new release drawings for magnetics and respective components.
4. Update and maintain all drawings through the Engineering Change Order procedure.
5. Provide and maintain ECO prints and records for existing transformers and component drawings and accurately records all changes.
6. Review prints prior to returning to Engineering or forwarding to print librarian for copy and distribution.
7. Work independently on repetitive assignments and designing products using standardized blocks.
8. Work with Engineering and Design For Manufacturing to create and check standard blocks for new components and package styles so they can be used on standard products.
9. Work from verbal instructions or rough sketches supplied by design and manufacturing engineering.
10. Manage block libraries, part number libraries and other applicable databases.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
