Job Description
This is an onsite position in the Sioux Falls area. Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the US.
In this role you will accurately maintain the general ledger and ensure generally accepted accounting principles, determining actual costs of manufacturing or providing a service, scrutinizing associated company expenses, and analyzing profitability.
- Cost Accounting for manufacturing environment
- Inventory valuation and reporting.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Maintain back up documentation for assigned accounts, Metrics Reporting
- Accounting department special projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of GAAP and Revenue Recognition Standard 606
- Aptitude for working with numbers with high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Annual Salary is $65,000+ DOE

Job Requirements
Required:
Cost accounting experience in a process production environment.
Experience designing and implementing efficient processes and systems.
Preferred:
4-year accounting degree plus 3 years’ experience in the field
Experience with Sage 300CRE/Timberline strongly preferred
Accounting certification (CMA, CPA), or interest in obtaining certification strongly preferred but not required.
