Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to join a growing agriculture-focused business? Spronk Brothers is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to help manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and provide valuable financial reporting to company managers and partners.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records and accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage general ledger accounts and cost tracking for farm projects
- Assist with year-end close and tax preparation support
- Collaborate on accounting projects and process improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience (agriculture experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of tax basis accounting
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Benefits & Compensation:
- $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary (based on experience)
