Duke Rentals is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Atlantic, Iowa location.
This role is vital to ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments, supporting the financial operations of our growing company. Scope and Key Functions:
- Reviewing and accurately entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Maintaining vendor information, including contact details and payment terms.
- Reconciling vendor statements to ensure accurate account balances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Corresponding with vendors regarding payment status, invoice inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and efficiently, handling high volumes effectively.
- Ensure all invoices are properly coded and approved according to company policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
- • Providing supporting documentation for audits.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel.
- College degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
