$18 - $20 / hour, DOE

Flexible schedule – 20 hours per week, during the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm, M – F

designArc Group is seeking a dedicated employee to assist in the accounting department. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that bills are paid and records are maintained appropriately. The position will also include some administrative duties outside of Accounts Payable.

Reports to:

• Controller

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for payment
• Prepare and process payments, obtain signature from Controller
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain vendor records, updating as needed
• Manage receipts
• Reconcile credit card & bank account statements
• Update Project Management software with budgets
• Make purchase orders for office supplies, snacks, and drinks
• Restock office supplies, snacks, and drinks
• Very light cleaning / tidying
• Assist Controller as needed

Education / Skills:

• Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Quickbooks a plus, but not required
• Experience with BQE CORE a plus, but not required
