Job Description
Fox Drywall installs commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling systems on schools, healthcare, retail and office projects. We are seeking dependable ACT installers who take pride in clean layout, level grids and professional finishes. Experienced installers and motivated applicants interested in learning the trade are welcome to apply.
What you will do
Lay out and install suspended acoustical ceiling grid and tile on commercial jobs.
Read ceiling plans and coordinate around lights, diffusers and sprinkler heads.
Install ceiling systems safely, protect finished materials and complete quality punch-list work.
Work with the foreman to meet project production goals and communicate delays or field issues.
What we are looking for
Experience installing commercial ACT systems preferred; apprentices may be considered.
Ability to measure accurately, work overhead, follow instructions and work reliably with a crew.
Knowledge of ceiling layout, lasers, lifts and jobsite safety is valuable.
Specialty ceilings and seismic ceiling systems experience are a plus.
Position Details/Benefits
Full-time, hourly position based in the Sioux Falls area.
Competitive Hourly pay based on experience.
Schedule is Monday-Thursday, [7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.], Friday [7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.].
Travel to out-of-town projects may be required [1-2 hours Max]; [per diem/lodging provided]
