Now Hiring: Activities Coordinator
Location: Bethany Home – Sioux Falls, SD
Schedule: Full Time | Some evenings and weekends required
At Bethany Home, we’re looking for an Activities Coordinator who can help enrich the lives of older adults through engaging programs, meaningful connections, and a positive “can-do” attitude.
What You’ll Do
As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll plan and lead social, educational, recreational, and wellness programs designed to promote joy, purpose, and well-being for our residents.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and oversee a variety of activities — from games, crafts, and exercise classes to community events and special celebrations.
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual interests and abilities.
- Support and motivate team members while fostering a fun, inclusive atmosphere.
- Promote teamwork and resident-centered care throughout our community.
- Assist with large-scale events such as holiday parties, car shows, and fundraisers.
What We’re Looking For
- A compassionate, energetic, and creative individual.
- CNA certified or the ability to obtain the certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, lead, and adapt activities for residents with a variety of needs.
- Experience working with older adults is a plus but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) for scheduling and documentation.
