As an Adjunct Instructor at Southeast Technical College (STC), you'll bring your real-world experience into the classroom to help students gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to succeed in the dental field.

What You'll Do:
- Teach and mentor students in dental assisting or hygiene, using your hands-on experience to bring lessons to life.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and challenged.
- Deliver engaging lessons that combine classroom theory with lab-based practice.
- Assess student progress through assignments, discussions, and practical evaluations.
- Use our learning management system to share materials, track grades, and communicate with students.
- Stay current in your field and bring fresh, relevant insights into the classroom.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dental Studies required; Master’s degree in Dental Studies preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of verified dental experience required; Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching and applied curriculum development preferred.
General classroom environment with standard equipment available during classroom instruction. Lighting and temperature are adequate for course delivery. Moderate noise levels typical of a classroom environment. Job is sedentary in the classroom that is similar to an office environment. Possible temperature changes when moving between buildings or out in the community.
